Arabic Letter Kaaf (ك) Handwriting Worksheet

Kaaf (ك) is the twenty-second letter of the Arabic alphabet. It is pronounced as a “k”, like the “k” in “kite”.

Kaaf is a tall angled stroke with a flat base; in the isolated and final forms it carries a small mark inside. This worksheet practises all four positional forms — isolated (ك), initial (كـ), medial (ـكـ) and final (ـك), with stroke-direction arrows to guide each movement.

You will find Kaaf at the start of everyday words such as كتاب (book) and كلب (dog). Writing tip: Write the tall stroke first, then the base; add the slanted top stroke last in the initial and medial forms.
