Arabic Letter Laam (ل) Handwriting Worksheet

Laam (ل) is the twenty-third letter of the Arabic alphabet. It is pronounced as an “l”, like the “l” in “lemon”.

Laam is a tall upright stroke that curves into a bowl below the line, with no dots. This worksheet practises all four positional forms — isolated (ل), initial (لـ), medial (ـلـ) and final (ـل), with stroke-direction arrows to guide each movement.
