Arabic Letter Noon (ن) Handwriting Worksheet

Noon (ن) is the twenty-fifth letter of the Arabic alphabet. It is pronounced as an “n”, like the “n” in “nest”.

Noon is a deep round bowl with one dot above in the isolated and final forms; at the start or middle of a word it is a short tooth with a dot. This worksheet practises all four positional forms — isolated (ن), initial (نـ), medial (ـنـ) and final (ـن), with stroke-direction arrows to guide each movement.

You will find Noon at the start of everyday words such as نجمة (star) and نحلة (bee). Writing tip: Make the final-form bowl deep and round, dipping below the line, and centre the dot above it.
